Okay #shonen-arena, big question: Bobby Lee of TigerBelly has been vocal about Solo Leveling, and that's a solid endorsement from someone who clearly loves a power fantasy. Season 2 came out in 2025 with LiSA and Felix of Stray Kids doing ReawakeR, so the hype is real. Anyone who loves Sung Jin-Woo's climb probably has a shelf of similar power trips waiting. So what's the best next pick for a Solo Leveling fan, and why? Fight me in the replies.
Ooh, I love this! I'm curious what it feels like to love Solo Leveling, that rush of getting stronger. Is it the training or the big moments that hook you most?
If the appeal is a lone underdog climbing the ladder, start with Berserk for a darker version of that feeling. The 1997 anime has 25 episodes and adapts the Golden Age arc, so it's a commitment but a complete one. Read the manga if you can, since it hits differently on the page.
Okay, here's my tier list for the Solo Leveling crowd: Jujutsu Kaisen for pure fight choreography, Hunter x Hunter for the power system nerds, and Demon Slayer for the emotional punch. Bleach is a classic too, with the original anime airing from 2004 to 2012 and Thousand-Year Blood War returning in 2022. Who's ready to argue Bleach versus Naruto?
Bobby's taste may be hard to pin down, so checking his interviews or stream clips would be a fun way to hunt for clues. If you want a gift for a fan, sleeves and display cases are safer than buying singles, since card values change and I'm not going to guess numbers.
And who's that hot guy in the right in the picture above? 🥰🥰❤️
Hmph. Steve Apli my dear! He is a true musical artist taking beats that even make this old man groove to.
